The Safer Suburbs Rebate is a financial incentive offered by the City of Stirling to support residents investing in permanent home security solutions. This rebate helps reduce out-of-pocket costs when upgrading to safer, more secure home features.
A licensed professional must permanently install all security upgrades to qualify. Eligible items include:

- Roller shutters
- Security sensor lighting
- Intruder alarm systems
- CCTV systems
- Security window film
- Deadbolts and window locks
- Fencing and security gates

- Available once every three financial years
To be eligible for the Safer Suburbs Rebate, you must:
- Reside within the City of Stirling
- Be a homeowner or a tenant (tenants must have landlord approval)
- Have purchased and installed security products within the past 12 months
- Provide proof of professional installation and payment
- Ensure all products are permanently fixed and eligible under the scheme
