Safety & Security Rebate for Seniors

Perth Homeguard assists seniors in accessing the WA Government’s Safety and Security Rebate. If you’re a Seniors Card holder, you may be eligible to claim up to $400 towards home safety and security improvements.

What is the Safety and Security Senior Rebate?

The WA Government created this state-wide initiative to help WA Seniors Cardholders enhance their home security. Perth Homeguard’s grants and rebates assistance includes helping you claim this rebate successfully with fully compliant installations.

What Security Items are Covered?

- Security screens
- Roller shutters
- Door and window locks
- CCTV and alarm systems
- Sensor lighting
- Security window film
- RCD safety switches
- Mains-powered smoke alarms
- Wi-Fi video doorbells

What Can I Claim?

- Up to $400 per eligible household
- For items purchased/installed from 1 Jan 2023 onwards
- One claim per household

Am I Eligible?

- Must hold a valid WA Seniors Card
- WA resident
- Installation completed by a licensed professional
- Proof of purchase and installation required
- No prior claim for this rebate at your current address
